Last year's popular ghost story event, "August Ghost Stories," will be held again this summer.
Experience a spine-chilling special moment on a hot summer night. This time, we welcome Toshiyuki Tanaka, a well-known ghost storyteller and collector of cursed objects. He is active in TV programs and ghost story events, and recounts real-life ghost stories and cursed objects collected from all over Japan. Additionally, we will welcome Ryoga Wakabayashi, a television writer from Miyakojima, Okinawa, as a guest. He is currently involved in planning ghost story events set in Miyakojima.
Focusing on ghost stories related to Okinawa and the mysterious memories that live in the land, we will deliver terrifying yet fascinating stories unique to PAN's events. As the night deepens, please look forward to what will emerge.
Attendees will be able to enjoy vegan mazesoba from Cafe Kurumaya while listening to the ghost stories. Based on Okinawa soba, it features soy meat crumbles, spicy tomatoes, cucumbers flavored with ginger and dill, all mixed with miso combined with several spices. For a different twist, add cold soy milk soup halfway through. For drinks, you can choose between Orion Beer or cold hojicha.
After the storytelling, there will be a cross-talk session where the two will deeply discuss their respective mysterious experiences. In the gallery space, a special one-night-only exhibition of works will be held in conjunction with this event. You can also see the cursed objects actually collected by Mr. Tanaka up close. There will also be a sale of books by the two performers. For those who purchase books, there will be opportunities for autographs and commemorative photos, so please take this chance to interact with them.

Kurumaya
Kurumaya is an initiative that proposes a way of eating while considering coexistence with living creatures.
We aim to provide enjoyable and delicious vegetarian dining opportunities, primarily by creating sweets that combine plant-based ingredients with various beneficial spices, and selling body-friendly catering and bento boxes made with vegetables, bean products, and seaweed.
In 2028, as a new endeavor, we will launch a vegan cafe at the art center "PAN Okinawa" where Okinawan vegetables can be enjoyed.
Currently, on the Kurumaya online shop, we sell "Marui Vegan," baked goods made with Okinawan spices and teas. The packaging for the sweets features original designs by London-based artist Maria Farra.
