This drip bag coffee features printed artwork by two female artists, BuBu de la Madeleine and Maria Farrar.
Although their artistic expressions and styles differ, the product is titled “Sisterhood” to reflect their shared theme of solidarity and connection between women.
The blend is centered on dark-roasted beans, combined with specialty coffees of varying roast levels for balance. The overall profile is bittersweet with depth and complexity. It offers a rich aroma reminiscent of dark chocolate and roasted nuts, complemented by a subtle caramel sweetness. Despite its bold body, the flavor remains smooth and rounded, with a pleasantly lingering finish that unfolds as you continue to taste.

Artists:
BuBu de la Madeleine
BuBu de la Madeleine began her artistic career in the early 1990s as an early member of the artist collective Dumb Type. She appeared in the group’s seminal performance  S/N (1994–96), which toured 20 cities across 15 countries. Following this, she left Dumb Type to pursue a solo practice. Since then, she has created a wide-ranging body of work—encompassing performance, installation, text, and video—noted for its sharp criticality, poetic resonance, and wry sense of humor. Alongside her artistic pursuits, BuBu has remained deeply engaged in civil activism, particularly around the health and human rights of people living with HIV/AIDS and sex workers. She also continues to perform in club settings as both a drag queen and king, contributing to queer nightlife culture.

Maria Farrar
Maria Farrar was born in the Philippines to a British father and a Filipino mother, and spent her early childhood in Shimonoseki, Japan. At the age of fifteen, Farrar moved to London, where she received her art education and continues to base her practice today. With this multilayered cultural background, Farrar's paintings bring together diverse aesthetic sensibilities and visual languages, forming a distinctive space of narrative.
